2C Kids Week Exercise Challenge
We never know what challenges life will bring. Exercise is important because we know a strong healthy mind, and a strong healthy body can do hard things.
Exercise Challenge:
See how many rounds you can finish in 10 Minutes of:
10 Burpee : When you fall down 9 Times, you have to get up 10!
20 Mountain Climber: Kid, you can move mountains AND climb them!
30 ft Shuttle Wheel, Walk, Jog or Run: Remember where you started, and go a little farther every time! Add 10 ft to your distance with each round you complete. Use cones, rocks or socks to mark your distance.
Substitute
10 Jumping Jacks for every 10 ft distance if you're staying inside. Your first round will be 30 jumping Jacks, your second round will be 40 jumping jacks, your third round will be 50 Jumping Jacks… and so on.
Everyone has an awesome body to move, and every body moves in unique ways! You don’t have to be a super star athlete to complete this challenge. It doesn’t matter how old you are, what your gender is, what color your skin is, who your parents are, how much money you have, what you’re wearing or if you are/ are not able bodied.
You can do this challenge solo at home, but exercise is always more fun with friends and family. Get outside if you can, and enjoy being strong and healthy together.
